Mgarr Statistics

The next official match of the season for the Magpies is against Mgarr on Sunday 27th February 2011 in Centenary stadium in Ta' Qali. For both teams, this is the fifth match of the second round in the Second Division league competition. In the first round when they encountered each other, Mgarr gave a shock defeat to Rabat and obtained the first precious points of the season. This time Rabat should be more concentrated not to repeat the same mistakes to enable them to remain as close as possible to the current leaders and keep the pressure till the end of the season.

The next official match of the season for the Magpies is against Zejtun on Saturday 19th February 2011 in Centenary stadium in Ta' Qali. For both teams, this is the fourth match of the second round in the Second Division league competition. In the first round when they encountered each other, Zejtun won with a single goal. Rabat currently have their morale boosted after in the last match they thrashed Zebbug. For Rabat this is a good opportunity to reduce the distance against the current leaders and prove themselves that they are also capable of defeating a big side.

Zebbug Statistics

The next official match of the season for the Magpies is against Zebbug on Thursday 10th February 2011 in Centenary stadium in Ta' Qali. For both teams, this is the third match of the second round in the Second Division league competition. In the first round when they encountered each other, Rabat won with a score of 2-0. This time round the match will be much more difficult since Rabat seem to have lost their best form and Zebbug want to win to be able to remain close and enter in top first five of the league to get promoted. Zebbug recently added to their squad the services of prolific striker Timothy Thomas.  Luckily enough he will not be able to play the next match because he is suspended.
