Dingli started their league on a negative note, were from the first four games they managed to acquire a total of two points. But then they managed to recover and managed to obtain a total of nine points from twelve in the last four league matches. This means that in recent matches, Dingli managed to reach their best form.

On the other side, viewing recent performances, Rabat seem to have started to find their best form. Though the results don't say that, mostly due to lack of luck. Also, key team players seem to be returning back to squad. This should give the coach a hard time to decide the starting formation, when he will have all the players in the team available.

From the start of the league, Dingli managed to score a total of eleven goals while Rabat scored a total of six goals. Dingli conceded a total of ten goals while Rabat conceded a total of sixteen goals.

The following are my opinions as from my point of view, and as how I viewed and remember the last match against Vittoriosa. You have all the rights to disagree and you can criticize or comment on any of the points mentioned.

During the last match the main problems seemed to be in the midfield, were the team seemed incapable of winning high balls and also incapable of attacking from the wings (though the goal came from a cross from the left wing). The first problem occurred due to the fact that key midfielder Joseph Caruana was played in an unusual position, though with a tactical reason in mind, being that of stopping high balls from arriving on Eviparker. If this was successfully achieved or not is another story! Regarding the second problem is that the Magpies players were being played as full-back and the formation that was adopted was not helping them to aid in the attack. Basically when they tried to help in an attack the team was suffering from counter attacks, since the team was being caught with the only central defenders.

From what I remember earlier this season when Rabat played against Dingli, the last same problem did occur. I hope that this will not occur again during the next match, and that a solution is found in order to take the maximum points from the next encounter, and to try to save bravely from relegation on what is obtained from the pitch (since that should be a guarante).
